Inspire 2008 was hosted by College Mentors for Kids (CMFK), a national mentoring organization focused on educating elementary students about the importance of college. Inspire 2008 had a great turn out of around 500 people, raising over $140,000 for CMFK! Tom addressed the crowd and then signed books.

 Last year’s keynote speaker was Indianapolis Colts’ head coach, Tony Dungy (2 weeks after he won the super bowl). The directors of Inspire 2008 said Tom created the same amount of buzz for the event as Mr. Dungy…what an honor to be compared to that incredible man!

Tom Pace will be the keynote speaker at Inspire 2008 this year. Inspire is an annual banquet put on by an organization called College Mentors for Kids (CMFK). This is a great organization! Every year they educate young students about college and the importance of getting an education.

 We are very excited to work with them on this project. Tom will speak to a crowd of around 600 business leaders as well as individual mentors who are involved in CMFK. The event will take place this Saturday (Feb. 16th, 2008) at the Union Station in downtown Indianapolis. Tom will also be doing a book signing as well as media interviews at the event.

 Since the release of Mentor: The Kid & The CEO in April of last year (2007), we have been busy traveling the U.S. and sending the book to thousands of schools, libraries, churches and business leaders to promote the message of hope and mentoring.
